Principal Message
I extend a cordial welcome to all the students who have chosen to be a part of Government Degree College Dharampur (Solan) which has been serving the community with quality education in two undergraduate programs in B. A. and B. Com. for the last 10 years since its inception in 2014. Our institution strives to deliver its best to students, through its faculty and staff. The institution is keen to enrich the skills of students and generate leadership qualities and values of social work, which it strives to achieve by organizing activities like career counselling, communicative skills, debates, and guest lecturers through well-established NSS, Clubs and Societies. The college is in its initial and growing phase and the new college building surrounded by lush green pine trees in Kasauli Hills at Mandodhar is likely to be completed in a very short period.
The college has very experienced and highly qualified faculty members, actively involved in disseminating knowledge and skills to the students and simultaneously enriching their knowledge by actively participating in National and International Seminars and conferences, presenting papers, and training courses, and working as Resource Persons.
Education plays a key role in the overall development of the society. I consider it as an honour and pleasure to work with the faculty members and staff who work hard to help our students achieve excellence and become successful persons. I am sure that our competent and committed faculty and staff will improve the learning of our students in all the complexities of your academic discipline.
