Ms.Payal (B.Com 2nd yr.) won third prize and Ms. Ritu (B.A 2nd yr.) was awarded a consolation prize in the Murari Lal Maheshwari Memorial Debate Competition held by Amar Ujala Newspaper group in Govt. College Solan on the topic 'Politicians should/should not have retirement age'
Two students of the College of B.Com class namely Ms Priyanka Verma and Ms Aakansha who have recently passed out received Laptops and data cards from HP government. These have been given to the students based on merit/ marks achieved in UG exams.
Ms Jyoti of B.Com 1st year won the Bronze medal in the 50 kg category and Ms. Kirandeep of the same class won a Bronze medal in the 76 kg category in the HPU Inter-college Wrestling Championship held at Baijnath College.
In H.P Youth Festival Group –II, held in Govt. College Seema the college team comprising Nisha, Gagandeep, Priyanka, Ankita, Vinita, Mohit and Kamaldeep won third position in the Group Song event.
